Lady Cassandra - Doctor Who - drawsting bag

This is a drawstring canvas backpack with a front zipper pouch. I have my own canvas backpack. I learned from using mine that the rope straps needed to be reinforced... I learned this when mine broke at an inconvenient time. So, rest assured, these straps are now reinforced.

Honestly, I was just sitting at work one day with my own drawstring back pack (star wars image on it) and I thought - "huh. that's the same skin tone as Lady Cassandra. I bet that would look cool". And then a few hours later... well, several because I had to wait til I got home and then make it and I got derailed a couple of time. So... later that day... Voila.

I have never been so happy with the outcome of a creation. I hope you like it too.

Now, Moisturize me! Or rather, moisturize Lady Cassandra.

This bag is made from recycled materials too!!

Also, all product information and packing details are printed on recycled paper. I also include Seed paper with each order. The Seed paper can be planted and will sprout and grow into Wildflowers that will attract pollinators.

This backpack is hand drawn with pens and markers. It's not a transfer or screen printed image.

I draw images in my sketchbook first.

Each image is heat-sealed. Each product is laundered. Each pouch is treated with Scotchgard to repel dirt (this treatment does not last forever).

The pouches and totes are either white or tan, once the Scotchgard wears off you can reapply it. But, you can also launder them. I personally, use a toothbrush and dish soap in the sink and let them air dry.

This started with a simple doodle project with my daughter. We bought a couple of totes bags and a couple of shirts and some fabric markers. We just had a good time making silly doodle monsters on things. But, my doodles were very well received. I was advised to start making more pieces. It's been fun building a stock. I'm ready to start listing my products and my little doodle monsters.
